  • Alliance between the University of Miami School of Marine Sciences and Universidad Galileo’s newly created Marine Sciences School
    • Main goal: Create a Science Research Center in Guatemala

    • Scholarship Program for the kids of Artisan Fishermen

ALTERNATE FISHING

  • Continue meeting with the Artisan Fishing Associations
    • Define the plans and programs that they are requesting
    • Define the activities that will help their livelihood
  • Formalize the Artificial Reef Initiative
    • Focus on the required studies and research to manage what is already available
    • Continue the reef program but on a more organized manner, using the research obtained
