The SailFish Commision in Guatemala is the merging channel between the Big-Game-Fish Tourism and the Socioeconomic of the Pacific Coastal Region.
We work side by side with the artisan fishermen of the region to improve tourism, educate the people and preserve the BillFish.
Guatemala is a world pioneer in the conservation and sustainable use of maritime resources, particularly with sailfish, through the National Sailfish Protection Commision. This project will allow to have an accurate control of the illegal fishing that takes place in the pacific coasts in Guatemala.
